Introduction:
Inuyasha was a costume I thought I was gonna make for sure for halloween 2002, but when I realized a Dilandau costume WASN'T impossible, Inuyasha was put aside. Eventually the odds of me cosplaying him were so slim I almost removed the costume from my page entirely. But when I came across a necklace simular to his and found both the red and white fabric for awesome prices, I couldn't resist! The urge to cosplay hit! Besides, the red fabric I found was GEORGOUS!

How it was Made:
- Red Shirt: I made the pattern from scratch. The slits in the sleeves were done by having the sleeves being two peices and sewing them together. Black lines were made by glueing on felt strips.
- White Shirt: I used the same original pattern from the red shirt, but made the sleeves narrower.
- Red Pants: Another original pattern. Made them absolutely huge for the poofy look, 48" around the ankles. Elastic was string through the ankles and a tie at the front was adjustable to make the pants fit better.

-White Pants: Another original pants pattern.
- Necklace: I found a voodoo necklace in a Halloween shop with black beads and fangs. Bought that, took it apart and remade it.
- Wig and Ears: I got a long white wig and sewed on a short white wig over it for a fuller look. The ears were sewn onto the wigs.

Hardest Task:
Nothing! This was a sickenly easy costume. Only required 3 days of sewing, all of which I only spent about 2 hours. I guess sewing the two wigs together was a pain though. Hair was everywhere. O_o;;;

Favorite Aspect:
THE PANTS! THEY'RE SO POOFY I LOVE THEM! XD I was worried when I made them 48" around my ankles, that's a lot of fabric! When I sewed them and strung the elastic through, it looked so incredibly accurate I was SCREAMING!

Flaws:
The long white I got was nice, but it thins out a lot, so the wig cap showed a lot. So I had to sew my short white wig ontop of it. It looks good, but the long hair itself is still thin and I'm not thrilled with it. It doesn't cover my hair completely.

Horror Stories:
When I bought the white wig, I had to clean it up a bit, since it was tangles-galore. Unfortunately, the hair from it is popping up everywhere. O_o
